[Answered] How to get animated usernames like on this forum?

#1
I want to have animated usernames for specific usergroups just same as there are on this forum. Example: Screenshot

What are these? Screenshot. Are these called user banners? I think this is a core feature but how do I enable this? And is there a way to make this animated too somehow?

Thanks!

If you want animated username like mine, you have to add in the text box 'CSS username' in your group properties this code :

Code:
  text-shadow: blue 1px 1px 10px;
    color: blue;
    background: url('https://i.imgur.com/Ak4d9pH.gif')
( Add the code here Capture d’écran 2017-02-13 à 21.16.54.png )

Now for Usergroup banner :

Always in the usergroup properties , write something like VIP or Owner or what you want, in the text field entitled "User banner Text" and choose a color with the small radio buttons below.

And if I want to change the color, all I have to do it change that 'blue' to any other color name?

This is working, thanks! But how do I make the username bold? Like yours is bold here.

You have to add :

font-weight: bold;

in the User Name CSS box.

I was doing that but it wasn't working. Then I looked at your screenshot closely and added the bold tag under text-shadow and it worked then. :)

Can this same gif image and same CSS work on user banners as well?
